Piraeus Port Cruise Terminal Services has been awarded the certification ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 for the second time, demonstrating the continual improvement of the port services provided with regards to quality and environmental issues.
The Provision of Cruise Terminal Services has been recertified by the well-established certification body Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance / Hellenic Lloyd’s SA, following an external audit during which the compliance with the requirements of both International Standards was identified.
Piraeus port is the major Greek port and one of the leading ports in East Mediterranean and Europe overall, demonstrating high passengers’ traffic. Modern port facilities fully equipped are at the disposal of both ships and passengers and high standard port services are provided.
Piraeus Port Authority SA works to serve ships with excellence and deliver a unique experience to passengers, along with reducing the environmental impact of daily port operations.
This certification is a proof of the port’s efforts to continual improvement of port services in order to meet our clients’ needs and expectations and improve our environmental performance.
Our environmental targets focus on enhancing recycling of both port-generated and ship-generated waste, as well as reducing energy consumption.
For us it is important to work together with tenants, shipping companies and other stakeholders when it comes to quality and environmental issues. Receiving our clients' feedback helps us become better.
