Handling and storage of conventional cargo is primarily done through the facilities of PPA in Schisto and secondarily through the Port of Hercules.
The mechanical equipment used for loading and unloading conventional cargo is cranes, forklifts and tractors of various types.
For the storage of conventional cargo, the Port has suitable warehouses.
