How can i get connected?
In order to get connected you should be within the Piraeus Port area. Open the browser, login and
you are connected. To use the Piraeus Port WI-FI service you need a WLAN-enabled PC, Laptop or
PDA (WIFI 802.11) and your computer’s internet browser for internet navigation.
Settings
Make sure your computer is equipped with a suitable wireless communication card. If necessary,
check your settings in accordance with the instructions below:
Instructions for windows
1. Piraeus Port WI-FI Hotspot Connection Settings:
Press Start/Control Panel/Network Connections/ right click on “Wireless Network Connection”.
Select the “Piraeus Port WI-FI” network SSID in order to get connected to the Piraeus Port WI-FI
Hotspot. Make sure that the security option is disabled.
2. Microsoft Internet Explorer Settings:
From your browser select: Tools/Internet Options/Connections, in
“LAN” settings open the “Local Area Network (LAN) settings” window.
Be sure that NONE of the following is ticked:
- "Use a proxy server for your LAN"
- "Use automatic configuration script"
- "Automatically detect settings"
Coastal Companies & Passengers: Rights and Obligations

The shipping companies must provide accurate information and full information to the travelling public. The agents of coastal shipping companies have an obligation to inform passengers on the alternatives available, to all fares offered by different companies and the discounts right.

The owner is obliged to observe the mandatory discounts for special categories of citizens:
Absorbed 100% discount in economy class
Children up to 5 years - 100% discount (a bench right by two)
Children aged 5-10 years - 50%
War invalids, war victims, helpers or escorts and fighters National Resistance - 50% (binding bench entitled to the position they wish to travel, if the position has available beds)
Persons with disabilities by disability rate is 80% and over - 50% discount on economy class
Large families - 50% discount on economy class
Retired in NAT - 50% discount on economy class

In such cases, the passenger must show on boarding the documentary evidence (the specific identity, child birth certificate, card of large families, healthcare decision authority, etc.). The owner is required to accurately perform these services, to notify the public by all appropriate means to promptly inform the public about their implementation.

Particularly in cases of cancellation or disruption of service (eg because of damage, bad weather etc.), shipping companies must take appropriate measures in the early passenger information, in consultation with the cooperating agents and port authorities. Otherwise it would impose the maximum prescribed by law penalties are:
a) 37,455 euro (incorrect information on passengers and other violations port regulation)
b) 500,000 euros (for ship safety and other violations)
The shipping company is liable for damage and loss of luggage onboard, if delivered to storage and issued a receipt. Instead, the company is not responsible for theft, damage or loss of baggage when the passenger carries with him, except in the case of wrongful act of the captain or crew.

Passenger Rights
In case of delay, the passenger is entitled to stay on board until the departure.
And the possibility of extending the delay and in case of cancellation of service with the fault of the owner, the passenger may cancel the ticket and is entitled to reimbursement of money paid.
Alternatively right cover living expenses and food until departure. In this case, including the right to compensation.
If a passenger having ticket, left outside board because of overbooking, it must notify the local Port Authority, so that the port authority or to impose an administrative fine and to inform the public prosecutor to prosecute.
Also, in case damage on the shipd, the passenger is entitled to either demand a refund of fares according to distance traveled either remain on board until the resumption of the voyage, if possible.

If prior to sailing, the passenger stated that it wants not to travel, or for reasons of illness or other unforeseeable circumstances unable to board, be entitled to reimbursement of half the ticket price.
When boarding, the passenger must show the ticket and is entitled to occupy the same position or cabin shown in this. Pasengers Obligations
The passenger should read carefully the conditions set out in the ticket stub.
The passenger must appear on the ship before the scheduled time of departure. If the vehicle owner, you must be at the loading area waiting 1 hour before departure.
If equipped with passenger ticket does not come in time to ship (to the scheduled time of departure), not entitled to reimbursement of the fare paid.
