Job responsibilities | Provision of expert advice and guidance in project planning, project execution, and/or project control |
Project management focusing on planning, maintaining quality and meeting project cost schedule and budget | |
Collaboration with project engineers and other project professionals to provide work direction and guidance | |
Formulation and implementation of strategies to improve project planning, cost, schedule, and/or quality | |
Evaluation of existing tools and methodologies in your area of expertise and recommendations on their implementation at PPA | |
Leading of internal or external problem-solving teams as directed by management | |
Participation in the development of standards, guidelines, instructions, policies and procedures on an as-required basis | |
Participation in the review and evaluation of the capabilities of contractors, suppliers, and project management related service providers | |
Job Requirements Preferred skills |
Diploma of Polytechnic School in Civil Engineering |
A higher degree would be considered an asset | |
Capability of evaluating and consulting on project problems where precedents are lacking or on problems where a specialized knowledge is required | |
Familiarity with planning and scheduling methods such as CPM, project management practices, project accountability budgeting and the expenditures and financials portions of the project | |
Α minimum of 5 years’ experience, including at least 3 years in engineering field with an emphasis on Project and construction management stages | |
Project Management Professional certification by AACE, PMI, or a professional engineering board would be considered an asset |
