Piraeus, December 18 2023. In perfect alignment with the holiday spirit, PPA's comprehensive corporate social responsibility program reaches its peak once again this year with a series of diverse actions and initiatives of generosity, charity and support directed towards the local community, children, as well as the company's own employees and their families.

The program commenced with the ceremonial tradition of presenting gift vouchers to the children in need within the surrounding municipalities. The PPA's management donated 3,000 gift vouchers to the Mayors of Piraeus, Salamina, and Perama.

Furthermore, with a donation from PPA S.A. to the children of members of the Trade Union of Metal Workers of Attica and the Ship Repair Industry of Greece, 1,000 gift vouchers were provided and a Christmas event took place for the families of the Union.

PPA continues its active support of local Social Grocery Stores by purchasing essential products and food on a monthly basis to sustain their operation.

In collaboration with the Holy Metropolis of Piraeus, PPA amplified the charity work of the Metropolis by supporting their love-sharing meals initiative. Gift vouchers were also given to other social structures in the wider region.

Moreover, on Sunday, December 17th the company's facilities at the Cruise Terminal B -Themistoklis, were transformed into a festive setting to host PPA's Christmas celebration. The event was dedicated to the company's employees and their families, who, it is worth noting, represent a significant portion, exceeding 40%, of the local community. Everyone, especially the children of the employees, experienced the holiday spirit through music, dance performances, surprises and exciting games.

Furthermore, PPA's management extended their gratitude to the employees and their families by offering gifts including gift vouchers for supermarkets and toy stores. In line with tradition, PPA rewarded 24 exceptional children of employees with substantial cash prizes to recognize their academic achievements.

During his speech, Mr. Yu Zenggang, Chairman of PPA, expressed sincere appreciation to the employees and their families for their presence and conveyed the company's wishes. He acknowledged their unwavering dedication and commitment to PPA's vision and values, which led to the outstanding achievements of the year. Mr. Yu then emphasized the true significance of these days, highlighting the importance of extending help to those in need. Addressing the children, he remarked, "Your presence here today serves as a reminder of the value of family and why we work tirelessly and every day – to create a better tomorrow for all of you."
