PPA S.A.: PPA Meeting with Maritime Stakeholders

 

30 March 2026. During a meeting held on Friday, March 20, 2026, between Piraeus Port Authority S.A., under the Deputy CEO Mr. Angelos Karakostas, and representatives of key maritime stakeholders, including the Panhellenic Seamen’s Federation, the Hellenic Passenger Shipping Association (SEEN), the Union of Greek Shipowners, the Hellenic Shortsea Shipowners Association, trade unions, as well as the participation of the Region of Attica, key principles of Regulatory Compliance were presented. Best practices implemented by PPA S.A. were analyzed, highlighting their role as a strategic advantage within the port ecosystem. In addition, various operational matters concerning the Port of Piraeus were discussed, while a constructive dialogue and productive exchange of views took place on issues related to the port’s daily operations.

All participants agreed on the importance and value of holding joint meetings as an institutionalized practice that promotes cooperation among all parties involved in and connected to the activities of the Port of Piraeus.
