The Board of PPA in the context of CSR policies, decided to extend the concession to the municipality of Piraeus until 09/01/2016, for property available in Retsina with an area of 7.512 m2 that houses the 13th Junior High and 3rd High School of Piraeus.

The architectural experimental laboratory HELLASTOCK 2014, which is part of the international network Bellastock, will be hosted by PPA SA at its premises from August 15th to September 15th. This international meeting of students of architecture will take place in the SILO building and the Stone Warehouse of the Haetionian Coast of the Central Port.

The PPA SA President and CEO Mr. George Anomeritis, the Deputy Director Mr. P. Petroulis, the General Manager Mr. St. Chatzakos, the Cruise Manager Mr. T. Tsitouras and staffers of the Authority met today at PPA SA with a large delegation of Members of Parliament of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Ambassador.

The newly-built cruise ship “LE SOLEAL”, of French interests, built in 2013, met with the Administration of PPA SA at the port of Piraeus, who presented the honorary plaque of the PPA and books to the Master cpt. Olivier Marien.

A welcoming to yet another cruise ship, built in Italy in 2013, visiting Greece and the port of Piraeus for the first time, is being prepared by PPA SA for Thursday 07/24/2014. It is “Le Soleal” by the Compagnie Du Ponant Company, operating since 1988 in luxury cruises in the Mediterranean.

The first freight train of TRAINOSE, which unloaded grain for the milling company “Saradopoulos SA”, arrived at the commercial on-port PPA Station PPA in N. Ikonio.In this way, the link between the port and the rural areas of the country, for the transportation of agricultural products, has begun.

The General Director of the PPA, Mr. Stavros Chatzakos, attended the Embassy of Vietnam, in conjunction with the meeting of Greek companies with the port “SAIGON NEW PORT CORPORATION”.

The President of HRADF, Mr. Konstantinos Maniatopoulos appointed the HRADF project manager Mr Athanasios Liagos  as Board Member of PPA SA

The Board of PPA SA approved the business project through Amicable Settlement Agreement PPA - SEP and decided to send it to the Court of Auditors for the pre-contractual control.

A multi-member representation team of Tianjin port of China, headed by the Director General Wang Qinglin, visited PPA SA and held discussions on port policy issues with the Director General of PPA SA Mr. Stavros Hatzakos, in the presence of the Authority’s senior executives.
