Visit of the PPA S.A. Management to the Hellenic Coast Guard

A cooperation meeting with the Harbor Master of Piraeus, Commodore of the Hellenic Coast Guard, Mr. Leontaras Konstantinos had the CEO of PPA S.A. Captain Fu Chengqiu, on Monday 08.01.2018, accompanied by executives of the company.

Welcome ceremonies for the first ship calls for 2018 at the port of Piraeus.

The first ship of 2018 at the port of Piraeus, “Blue Star Delos”, welcomed the BoD member and Executive Management Consultant of PPA SA Mr. A. Liagkos along with other executives of the company. During the event took place exchange of gifts and wishes with the captain of the ship.

PPA provided Christmas gifts and meals to families of vulnerable groups.

On the occasion of Christmas, PPA SA in the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility, provided meals and Christmas gifts to the children of vulnerable social groups in the wider region through the social structures of the neighboring Municipalities.

Visit of PPA Management in the 2nd Customs Office of Piraeus.

  A meeting of the Director of the 2nd Piraeus Customs Mr. K. Mourtidis took place with the CEO of PPA SA Captain Fu Chengqiu, on Monday 27th November 2017, accompanied by company’s executives.

Welcome to the newly-built VIKING SUN cruise ship by executives of PPA SA

PPA SA executives welcomed today Wednesday 11th October 2017 the newly built cruise ship "VIKING SUN" (delivered in September 2017) at the Piraeus port and handed an honorary plaque to the captain Mr. Anders Steen and books for the ship's library.

A visit - tour at Perama Ship Repair Zone took place today

              In the presence of Mr. P. Kouroumplis, Minister of Shipping and Insular Policy, Mr. S. Pitsiorlas, Deputy Minister of Economy and Development, the Mayor of Perama, Mr. I. Lagoudakis, the Secretary General Mr. Ch. Lampridis, Mr. I. Angelopoulos, Chairman of Regulatory Authority for Ports (RAL), Piraeus Members of Parliament, took place today Friday, June 30 2017 at Perama Ship Repair Zone, an informative meeting of the shipping industry unions and associations, on the occasion of the dock maintenance works completion and in view of the arrival of a new floating dock in November 2017.

The Annual General Assembly of the PPA SA shareholders took place on Wednesday, June 28th 2017 with a quorum of 85, 56% and main issues the Approval of the Annual Financial Statements and the Dividend Distribution for the financial year 2016 which, as the Board of Directors proposed, amounts to € 0.0892 per share.  

The role of the Hellenic shipbuilding sector in the LNG era

The present and the future of the shipbuilding industry in Greece towards LNG as fuel era, was the focus of the discussion organised by Piraeus Port Authority (PPA) within the framework of the European co-funded project Poseidon Med II. The event, which took place today at the Conference Hall of PPA, gathered representatives from Hellenic shipyards, project partners and delegates from the marine sector.

PPA docks in full operation

Piraeus Port Authority S.A. is pleased to announce the extensive repair of the Perama floating dock “Piraeus I” is being completed today, June 22nd. Upon its completion, all four existing docks are in full operation after the extensive maintenance works and all relevant permissions and certifications acquired by the responsible organization Hellenic Register of Shipping.
