The 1st meeting for this year of the Piraeus Port Users’ Council was held via teleconference, on Thursday 25.02.2021, as provided by the article 104 of Law 4504/2017, under the chairmanship of the Deputy CEO of PPA S.A. Mr. Angelos Karakostas. The meeting attended 20 representatives from 16 institutions - users of port activities (cruise, coastal shipping, ship repair, etc.), professional and trade unions and also the Deputy Regional Governor of Piraeus Ms. Stavroula Antonakou.

PPA S.A. announces the Annual Financial Results 2020, according to which:

The Piraeus Port Authority, meeting a relevant request of the Ministry of Shipping & Insular Policy, approved the docking of the Antipollution Vessel PLS-420 of the Hellenic Coast Guard, without any financial charge, in order the ship to remain operationally compatible and to continue its important work in the protection of the marine environment.

Piraeus Port Authority S.A. (PPA S.A.) awarded with three ISO management system certificates by Lloyd's Register (LR) in a virtual ceremony on 9th December, showcasing PPA’s commitment to best practice in quality, environment and energy management processes and systems.

PPA S.A. announces the signing of the agreement for the implementation of the project: “Infrastructure Improvement of Ship Repair Zone in Perama – Phase Β”, on a budget of approximately € 20,000,000, which is part of the Mandatory Investments, agreed with the Greek State.
