Piraeus, December 8th, 2022. PPA S.A. announces the successful completion of large-scale infrastructure upgrade works at the Eastern side of Pier II at the Perama Ship Repair Zone.

14 November 2022. PPA S.A.’s CFO Ms. Li Jin held a meeting at the Company’s premises with kick boxing champion and number one in the world ranking Maria Michalakakou, awarding her for achieving the highest ranking in the world championship, held in October 2022 in Italy.

November, 10 2022. PPA S.A. as part of its Sea Contingency Plan carried out a Drill at the Central Passenger Port, near Gate E1, with the active participation of vessel “ARIADNI” of Attica Group.

PPA S.A.: Plaque Exchange Ceremony with Viking Cruises - The Port of Piraeus a top destination for the global cruise industry  

November 2, 2022. PPA S.A. and Viking Cruises, one of the top cruise liners in the world, exchanged their plaques in a ceremony held at the Port of Piraeus to warmly welcome the cruise ship Viking Mars, whose maiden voyage took place in May 2022.

Basic financial data for the nine months of the current period ended 30/09/2022 and the general developments in each activity. 

 1.Revenue, Earnings before income tax and interest (EBIT) and depreciation (EBITDA) for the third quarter of 2022 and on a cumulative basis as well as the corresponding comparative figures of 2021.

PPA S.A.: Financial Results for the First Half of 2022 - Turnover increase by 29,3% - New all-time record in revenue and profitability, generating an ever-increasing direct benefit to the surrounding municipalities

September 30, 2022. PPA S.A. reported 29.3% turnover increase for the first half of 2022, amounting to 93.1 million euros compared to 72.0 million euros in the corresponding period of the previous year, an increase of 21.1 million euros.

July 27, 2022. In the previous period,  the restoration works at "Saint George" Summer Camp of the  Metropolis of Nicaea at Stefani Viotia,  fully funded by PPA S.A., have been successfully completed  and within schedule.

PPA S.A.: Ordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting completed

July 13th 2022. PPA S.A. held today, Wednesday July, 13th 2022 the company’s Ordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting through a teleconference, which was successfully completed in accordance with the statutory procedures and had the necessary quorum of shareholders with a participation at 78,66%. During the General Meeting, there was constructive communication with the shareholders and information on the current developments. Also, the shareholders of PPA S.A. commented positively on the Company's financial performance. All issues of the General Meeting were approved with high majority.

PPA S.A.: Signing of new Collective Labor Agreement with the Union of Supervisors & Foremen.

June 27, 2022. PPA S.A. and the Union of Supervisors & Foremen on Monday, June 20th, 2022 signed a new three year Collective Labor Agreement, following the necessary negotiation procedures. The above agreement was also signed by the President of the Greece Federation of Loaders and uploaders.

May, 31 2022.  A dynamic cruising season has already kickstarted at the Port of Piraeus, after some of the world’s largest, most advanced and luxurious cruise ships of the leading cruise companies internationally made their debut.

PPA S.A.: Green technologies and applications at the Port of Piraeus - Event for the presentation of the European Green C Ports Project in Athens

24 May 2022. On the occasion of the Green C Ports Project, PPA S.A. has organized a special hybrid event in collaboration with the ICCS of NTUA, the Municipality of Piraeus, and the companies Glomar and ZEN Travel. At the event, held in Athens Marriott, the first project results were presented concerning the specifications and the installation of the environmental sensor network as well as the implementation of the pilot IT platform at the participant ports.

The SILO building and its adjacent spaces granted to the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports by P.P.A. S.A. for the construction of the Museum of sea antiquities

18 May 2022. The SILO building and the adjacent spaces comprising a total of 13,761 sqm. are conceded to the Ministry of Culture and Sports by P.P.A. S.A. in a special event at the company’s premises, in the presence of the Minister of Culture and Sports, Lina Mendoni, PPA’s Chairman, Yu Zenggang and the Chinese Ambassador to Greece, Xiao Junzheng. The agreement was signed by the Secretary General of Culture, George Didaskalou and PPA’s Acting CEO Zhang Anming. In the SILO building and the adjacent spaces, the Ministry of Culture and Sports has planned the creation of the Museum of Sea Antiquities. The project is financed through the funds that the Ministry of Culture and Sports has obtained through the Recovery Fund. The budget of the project amounts to €77,563,212 with a completion time by the end of 2025.
