The Green C Ports European Project has been awarded the 2020 World Port Sustainability Award of the International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH) in the ceremony which took place online on June 24, with the participation of port authorities from around the world and representatives of the European Commission and of the project itself. Specifically, Green C Ports was distinguished in the category of “Resilient Infrastructure”.
P.P.A. S.A. announces that today, Friday, on the 26th of June of 2020, the BoD Chairman Mr. YU Zenggang signed with the representatives of the PPA S.A.’s employees the prolongation of the validity of the company’s Collective Labor Agreement. Both parties agreed to continue with the negotiations during summer and to reach an agreement about the new CLA the soonest possible.

PPA S.A. in the framework of actions of Corporate and Social Responsibility proceeded to one more donation of sanitary material (protective masks and antiseptics) to the programme of the Therapy Center for Dependent Individuals “KETHEA EN DRASI” (KETHEA IN ACTION).
The PPA S.A. announces that the tender regarding the project “Repairs of Pavements and Rails for RMG Cranes of Pier I Container Terminal” within the framework of Mandatory Education 02 has been completed and the Contractor awarded is “UNION OF COMPANIES DAMON A.T.E. - TECHNIKI ERGON S.A. – S. TSAKOUMAGKOS A.T.E.” for the amount of € 6,800,474.91 (plus VAT).

The PPA S.A. took the initiative for the donation of protective masks and antiseptics to the local authorities and specifically to the surrounding Municipalities of the port, namely Piraeus, Keratsini - Drapetsona, Salamis and Perama.
Regarding the announcement released on the subject of the operation of sanitary facilities in the Ship Repair Zone of Perama, PPA S.A. would like to clarify that in addition to existing infrastructure, the company has already installed two more chemical toilets for the employees in NEZ during this period of the epidemic outbreak and has also planned the construction of bigger sanitary areas.
