Tuesday, July 6th 2021.  Captain Weng Lin and Angelos Karakostas, both Deputy CEOs of Piraeus Port Authority S.A., met yesterday at the company’s Headquarters with Cyprus Deputy Minister of Shipping, Mr. Vasilis Demetriades and the Director General at Cyprus Shipping Deputy Ministry, Mr Neophytos Papadopoulos to discuss about the Cyprus-Greece maritime link, more specifically, the ferry connection to link Piraeus and Limassol.

The port of Piraeus welcomed the first Cruise Ship of the season

Official visit of the Minister of Maritime Affairs of Portugal at the port of Piraeus

The Minister of Maritime Affairs of Portugal Mr. Ricardo Serrão Santos, head of a delegation of the Government of Portugal accompanied by the Secretary of State for Internationalization, Mr. Eurico Brilhante Dias, visited today, Wednesday May 12th 2021 the port of Piraeus and met with the Chairman of the BoD of PPA S.A. Mr. Yu Zenggang and the Deputy CEO Capt. Weng Lin, in the presence of the Ambassador of Portugal in Athens, Mrs. Helena Paiva.

Increase capacity of the Pier I of the Container Terminal - Signing of a supply contract for Electric Stacking Cranes (E-RTG Cranes)

Piraeus, April 13th 2021     PPA S.A. announces the signing of a new supply contract for five (5) Stacking Cranes (E-RTG), which will be installed in Pier I of the Container Terminal. It is noted that the new electric E-RTGs are more environmentally friendly than conventional ones and their use will improve the environmental footprint of the port of Piraeus.  

PPA S.A. offered 3000 Gifts to the Children of the neighboring municipalities on the occasion of Easter

  Following the Christmas gifts donated at the end of 2020, PPA SA offered again 3000 gifts in view of the Easter holidays, for the children of financially weak families in all the neighboring Municipalities. On April 13th, 2021 the delivery ceremony took place in the presence of the Municipality representatives from Piraeus, Perama and Salamis.  The gift cards were handed over by the PPA Acting CEO Mr. Zhang Anming and the Senior Management of PPA SA. On behalf of the Municipalities, the Mayor of Perama Giannis Lagoudakis, the Vice Mayor of Piraeus Charalambia Zilakou and the Vice Mayor of Salamis Pantelis Dioletis were present.
