The newest cruise ship in the world and also one of the largest, the "Regal Princess" will be welcomed at the PPA on Tuesday, May 27th, 2014 during its first visit to the port of Piraeus.

In the Port of Piraeus, under the organizational responsibility of the PPA, the General Assembly of the European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO), will be held, in May 2015. The decision was reached unanimously by all European ports during the General Assembly of the ESPO 2014 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The General Assembly of the European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO), conducted in Gothenburg, Sweden, 14-16 May 2014, will be attended - as representatives of PPA SA – by the President and CEO, Mr. George Anomeritis and the General Director Mr. Stavros Hatzakos.

The members of the Hellenic Fund and Asset Management Association were informed, at the annual briefing about issues of PPA SA, by the President and CEO of the company Mr. George Anomeritis, accompanied by the General Director Mr. St. Hatzakos, the Financial Director Mr Aik. Venardou and the Investor Relations Officer Mr Nekt. Demenopoulos.

In accordance with the Companies Law about the Societes Anonymes, as it is in effect, the articles of association of the Company and following the decision of the Board of Directors, the Shareholders of P.P.A S.A are invited to the Annual General Meeting which will be held on Saturday, 14 June 2014, at 12.00 a.m at the Central Offices of the Company (Conference room, PPA Headquarters, 10 Akti Miaouli -Piraeus)

The works of the Commission for green ports (ECOPORTS) of ESPO ended, with significant contributions from speakers from the ESPO, the DG Move, the EMSA and other EU bodies.

An increase of 12.1% of the dividend distribution (from 0.2871 to 0.3218 Euro), was decided by the Board of PPA SA, after a 30% increase in profit before tax of the Authority, during the fiscal year 2013.

A significant increase in profit, before tax, for PPA SA was shown for the period January - December 2013, in comparison to 2012.

A Workshop entitled “1st EcoPorts Workshop on Waste Reception facilities” will be held on Friday, March 28th 2014, at 10:30 until 15:30, at the hall of PPA SA.
